I now have my own copy of Cranford and have been able to watch it over and over again … to the producers & directors & wonderful actors who gave such life to each character you have left us waiting for more
and hope it will be soon… you all were absolutely wonderful and thank you again … your long days and nights making this is so appreciated.

My granddaughters and I have loved watching Cranford over and over again – usually 20 or 30 minutes at a time – with tea and raisin toast! Can anyone tell me what Martha is doing with what appears to be sand designs on the doorstep on May Day? Is it some sort of good luck tradition? I’ve done some looking on the internet. Maybe I’ve not used the correct search words. Thank you.

I love Judy Dench, she is actually one of my favourite actresses. This looks like a cool series.
